Additionally, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs is available 24 hours, with 38,500 square feet, 1,589 one armed bandits, 36 table games, and four dining rooms. There are many other dominant Iowa gambling dens, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 slot machines, and 39 table games.

A smaller Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a river boat casino in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slot machines, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend paddle wheel boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 one armed bandits, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa water based gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open all day and night, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot riverboat casino in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live productions, and Thursday vingt-et-un events.

Iowa casinos offer an awesome amount of tax revenue to the commonwealth of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of a good many commonwealth wide projects. Vacationers have grown at an accelerated percentage along with the demand for services and a gain in working people. Iowa casinos have contributed to the growth of the economy, and the enthusiasm for betting in Iowa is across the board.
