Don’t Drink … Gamble!
by Ella on Mar.08, 2026, under Casino
If you like to have a drink every once in a while, leave your money out of the casino if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your pocketbook, your billfold, and keep all money, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Pack whatever cash you expect to spend on beverages, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to squander and keep the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You can experience a win after a drunken evening out with your comrades and be blessed sufficiently to catch a 25 minute toss at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that account seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and bet. These activities just do not go well together.
Leaving your money at home is a tiny bit drastic, but preventative measures for excessive behavior is required. If you bet to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your money without a worry, then drink all the no charge booze you are able to handle, but don’t pack credit cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of going after losses after your drunk as a skunk brain loses all the cash!
Let me to carry this one step more. Don’t drink and then jump on to the internet to play in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my house, however seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink and bet.
What’s the reason? Despite the fact that I don’t drink alcohol to excess, when I drink, it’s certainly enough to blur my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both make for a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
